Once a user runs the /createprofile command, they can begin earning points by joining any non-afk voice channel in their server. The standard rate of point generation is 10 points every 5 minutes.
This Discord bot is built using Node.js and the discord.js library, enabling seamless interaction within Discord servers. Inspired by Twitch.tv and its channel points system, the bot allows users to earn points that can be redeemed for various rewards within their server.
All user information is securely stored in an encrypted file, ensuring that sensitive data remains confidential. The bot's features are designed to enhance the overall user experience, making it a fun and safe addition to any Discord community.
Unfortunately, this bot is in a fairly early stage of development. Currently the behaviours for point generation and data handling all have the server ID hardcoded into them, so it would not function properly outside of the server it is being developed on. Once I can determine my path forward for handling cross-server data management, the server point bot should be ready to be added to any of your favorite servers!
